The Irish Guitar Quarter047

The Irish Guitar Quartet are looking forward to performing Workshops for Tuning Up, Cork County Council’s Music in Schools programme. Tuning Up is managed by West Cork Music and brings leading classical musicians into Cork schools. From 8 – 9 November, the Irish Guitar Quartet will present its workshops to schools in Douglas, Glountahne, Mallow and Lissavaird. This workshop will stimulate students in the areas of creativity, music and individual expression. Each performance is linked to an age-appropriate ‘road map’ of musical understanding and the programme will include Latin, Far East, Folk and American Classics to transport students around the world.
